Michigan's Paid Medical Leave Act Summary
As collective bargaining agreements are renewed during this time of the year, their impact on compliance with the 2019 Michigan Paid Medical Leave Act may be overlooked.
The exemption afforded to unionized contractors signatory to CBAs in 2019 (when the Act was adopted) expires with those contracts and they must now comply, at least larger contractors with 50 or more employees.
