David Malinowski brings over a decade of experience in handling labor, employment, and employee benefit matters.
Overview
Along with experience handling matters in court, David Malinowski also has experience handling grievances, arbitrations, state administrative matters and matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR), Michigan Employment Relations Commission (MERC), and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Of note, he prepared and filed an amicus curiae brief addressing one of the NLRB’s landmark cases.
David also advises clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters. He has experience working on and drafting employment agreements, collective bargaining agreements, and employee handbooks and policies.
Prior to his legal career, he proudly served in the United States Navy in both aviation and law enforcement roles.

David Malinowski successfully worked on a whistleblower case that received national attention. The case ended with a favorable decision in the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court declined to grant certiorari.
He frequently presents on a wide variety of labor and employment topics.
