Our labor and employment practice complements our employee benefit plan practice.
We have extensive experience advising clients on the proper conduct of union officer elections at all levels from local, regional council, and national positions. Our lawyers have prepared operating documents for regional councils and aided in drafting local union as well as regional council constitutions and by-laws. We are also experienced in aiding local unions both bringing and defending against internal charges, as well as defending labor clients against inadequate representation claims brought against them.
We routinely handle matters before state and federal courts, arbitrators, the National Labor Relations Board, and state administrative agencies.
